DRIULIUS GONZALES MORALES
Known as "the legend of judo", she is considered the best judoka of the 20th century in America and one of the most complete in the world of all time, in the 57 and 63 kg divisions.
Holder of four editions of the Olympic Games, seven-time world champion, of the Pan American Games and of the Central American and Caribbean Games.
Champion in the 63 kg division and feared in the 56 and 57 kg divisions, she was a symbol of extraordinary consistency and tenacity when she triumphed while injured in the Atlanta Summer Games, becoming a model of combativeness among athletes.
The 2000 Sydney Olympics was the last major competition in which he won a silver medal.
Selected five times as the best female athlete in Cuba, Driulis also boasts other titles and medals. She is currently the coach of the national women's judo team.

RODOLFO PUENTE ZAMORA
Specialty Baseball. He actively participated in several national series, becoming a renowned Cuban baseball player.
Famous batter for hitting the baseball over the outfield fence; he achieved the feat of hitting 3 home runs in a single game.
In his memories (and records) he has 21 Home Runs in 21 years of career. After retiring, he continued as coach of the Cuban team.
He was elected in 1985 as a member of the Technical Commission of the "Pan American Baseball Confederation" (COPABE).
In 2001 he was appointed second Vice President of the "International Baseball Federation (IBAF), representing the organization of baseball sport at a global level.
He is currently the director of the "Cuban Baseball Federation".

PROF. JULIAN FRANCISCO RUIZ TORRES
Doctor of Science, Specialist in Gastroenterology. Director of the National Center for Minimal Access Surgery.
President of the "Cuban Society of Endoscopic Surgery" and member of prestigious international and Cuban medical societies.
He introduced numerous techniques of therapeutic endoscopy in the digestive tract. He held numerous national and international courses in relation to the topic of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. Author of numerous scientific articles published in national and international journals.
He is the author of the book "Manual of Endoscopic Surgery", receiving the Annual Health Award, 2001-02 and the Scientific-Technical Critics Award, 2001.
